Tropical Coconut Oil Smoothie
Is there anything better than drinking a tropical smoothie, imagining yourself on a beach, while getting your daily greens in at the same time? We admit, that’s pretty hard to beat. Okay, fine, actually being at the beach would be better, but what can you do?

To hold you over until your next vacation we’ve included one of our favourite tropical coconut oil smoothie recipes. By adding coconut oil to your smoothie you get your daily dose of healthy fats that can help balance your hormones, give you clearer, softer skin, and help your waistline. Blend this delicious smoothie up for a taste of tropical paradise that’s healthy too!
1 ½ cup coconut water or water
½ frozen banana
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 tablespoon coconut oil
¼ cup shredded coconut
1 cup kale or spinach
1 medjool date or 1 tablespoon natural sweetener
Blend on high in a high-speed blender for one minute. Pour and enjoy.
